The Student Recruiter/Advisor will be responsible for EOF marketing, and recruitment; the planning and promotion of program activities to prospective students; Makes preliminary qualification for EOF eligibility.
Represents EOF at publicizing and recruitment events.
Advisor to assigned cohort of current EOF students.
This position must effectively function in a team-based culture in an environment based on principles and practices of equitable and inclusive community engagement.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1.
Coordinate the student recruitment process for the EOF program; work closely with OCC Enrollment Services and K-12 partners, including, teachers, school counselors, and other school personnel and parents to recruit students and market the EOF program.
2.
Participates in the development of EOF student marketing, recruitment and retention plans, strategies this may include mailings, phone campaigns, email/electronic communications, college/high school visits, information sessions, and other special events.
3.
Creates and distributes promotional materials for student recruitment print/web advertisements/brochures in accordance with OCC College Relations brand standards and procedures.
4.
Meet individually online, in person, or by phone with prospective EOF students or meet in group settings via information sessions or other recruitment events to discuss program application.
5.
Determines EOF eligibility in accordance with established state, federal and college guidelines; assists students and parents with related forms and processing requirements for EOF acceptance.
6.
Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders, including local school districts, in partnership with OCC Enrollment Services staff.
7.
Serves as advisor to assigned students; conducts monthly individual advising sessions.
8.
Assists with maintenance of Dynamic Forms applicant database.
9.
Collects appropriate EOF data, statistics and forms; maintains student records and files.
10.
Prepares quantitative and qualitative reports pertaining to EOF recruitment activities and program component activities 11.
Related projects and duties as assigned.
