JOB
Reporting to the Associate Director, this role offers managerial support for Supplemental Instruction (SI) funded by the Perkins Grant and Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) funded by the college.
The responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, facilitating training, and assisting supplemental instructors and PAL Leaders to ensure the programs meet their objectives.
Collaboration with faculty, particularly in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses to provide academic support services is integral to the role.
This position is partially funded through the Perkins Grant.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1.
Manage the SI program budget allocation (Perkins); oversee schedules and timesheets for Perkins-funded S.
I.
leaders and PALs (College).
2.
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise Perkins SI Leaders and PAL.
3.
Meet with professional staff to ensure optimal student services and provide ongoing professional development.
4.
Coordinate the schedules of SI Leaders and PALs, working with academic administrators to facilitate academic support and tutoring services 5.
Review and evaluate session plan documents weekly and provide feedback to ensure high-quality sessions.
6.
Familiarize with the academic curriculum in CTE departments and regular courses/programs with low success and high attrition rates.
7.
Utilize various technology platforms and interactive learning strategies rooted in best practices, input and track data, prepare documents, reports, and correspondences.
8.
Ensure Supplemental Instruction Leaders are aware of Perkins guidelines and work towards improving performance in specified Perkins indicators.
9.
Undertake related projects and duties as assigned.
